Notes
- This army list works on the assumption that Wave Serpents, with their Energy Fields, are now much more survivable than Falcons in 5th Ed. Reducing all incoming shots to strength 8 is bliss, and so annoying for your opponent. I thought why have 1 when you can have 3?
- The 11 man jetbike unit is the largest I've ever attempted to run. But, with the Farseer casting Fortune they get re-rollable 3+/5+ (normal save/cover save), which makes them a really hard nut to crack. Combined with Doom the unit should eat up infantry and can take on tanks with Cannons and Spears.
- As you can see, I love Dire Avengers. They are probably about the best troops Eldar have and a great way of getting some scoring units. Bladestorm can be simply dirty, especially when it starts felling Terminators and the like. Make them roll dice and the 1's will come!
- The Bikes and Avengers cover any infantry threat, which leaves the ever useful Fire Dragons to tank hunt, supported by the Bright Lance Serpent and Jetbike SS's. The Vypers are there to, generally annoy or get to the rear armour of vehicles or tackle lone support elements, like Devastators or Basilisks.
